JOC Kigali VTC in the academic year 2023-2024
r trained 182 youth in vocational training
hairdressing, tailoring and Automobile repair and maintenance, including
51 boys and 131 girls. In particular, among the girls trained, the majority of
girls were teen mothers. One of the students representing others expressed their
joy at studying at JOC Kigali VTC because they received civic education, they acquired profession skills that help them to develop, and some of them
have even started earning money that helps them in their daily lives.
The Director of
Education in Nyarugenge District, Emmanuel MANEVULE, who came on behalf of the
Mayor of Nyarugenge District, congratulated the students who completed their
vocational training and asked them to play an active role in building the
country, especially by solving the problem of unemployment in youth.
He especially
thanked the school administration and JOCF in general for their active role in
contributing to the country's
development, especially in helping the youth to
learn vocational training.
